Bone Anchored Hearing Devices

The Bone Anchored Hearing Device is a surgically implanted device that works through direct bone conduction. A sound processor transmits vibrations to the implant; these vibrations within the skull stimulate the nerve fibers of the inner ear, allowing hearing. The Bone Anchored Hearing Device is useful for those with chronic ear infections, missing or very narrow ear canals, or single sided deafness who can’t benefit from a traditional hearing aid.
