Benjamin Brownlee
M.D.
Dr. Benjamin Brownlee is a fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty, complex nasal and facial reconstruction, and the treatment of facial paralysis. A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, he is honored to return to his hometown to provide advanced, patient-centered care.
Dr. Brownlee received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he also completed residency training in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. He then pursued subspecialty fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Virginia, gaining expertise in both cosmetic and complex reconstructive procedures of the head and neck.
His clinical interests include functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty, facial reanimation for facial paralysis and reconstruction following facial trauma or oncologic surgery. Dr. Brownlee has published extensively in the field of Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, contributing to numerous peer-reviewed journals and textbook chapters. His current research focuses on strategies to reduce opioid usage following facial plastic surgery, with an emphasis on enhancing recovery and improving patient outcomes.
Dr. Brownlee is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care that focuses on both form and function. He remains actively engaged in academic efforts to advance the field. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jacqueline, two daughters, Evie and Emmy, and son, Bishop.
